Homemade Mandarin Orange Wine

Homemade Mandarin Orange wine is the first in my winemaking step. With this strong citrus flavored wine, we are  starting our journey of 21-Day Wine-making. I had tasted some store-bought wines and truth to be said, I don’t like them. I am a great fan of homemade wine and I think always will be. Store-bought ones taste bitter for me.

My father used to make fruit wines at home and they were sweet to taste. So this time when we got lots of mandarin oranges for an affordable price, I decided to have my hands on homemade wine-making for the first time. I’m really excited to say that it is a huge success.

When decided to make homemade wine with oranges, we – me and my husband were a little skeptical about the bitter taste usually oranges will have because of the white pith and the white skin covering the juicy pulp. Anyway, we decided to give it a try. The white skin and the pith were completely removed in this homemade wine, which was the only hard part. So here goes a simple recipe for Homemade Orange wine made with Mandarins.
