Ingredients
3cupbasmati ricecooked
1/2of a small onionthinly sliced
1.5tbspgheeclarified butter
2cardamomcrushed
1tspfennel seed
1cinnamon stick1-inch
1tspground black pepper
Salt to taste
Instructions
Heat ghee in a non-stick or ceramic pan.
Add the spices (cloves, cardamom, fennel seed, cinnamon) into the hot ghee.
Stir well until you feel a spicy aroma.
Now the sliced onion and salt. Mix well and saute until it starts to brown.
