Tempered Spicy Yogurt
This is an easy recipe with very few ingredients usually available in almost every kitchen.

Ingredients

Cup
Yogurt
Salt to taste

Coconut oil
1
tsp
mustard seed
1
Shallot,
Peeled and sliced lengthwise
½
tsp
turmeric powder
½
tsp
chili powder
Curry leaves
Instructions
Take yogurt in a bowl. Add salt. Mix well and keep aside.
For Tempering:
Heat a pan. Add coconut oil into the pan. When the coconut oil becomes hot, splutter the mustard seeds.
Add the shallots and cook until it turns just golden brown. Then add the curry leaves.
Lower the flame and finally add the turmeric and chili powder. Mix everything well. Switch off the flame. Tempering is ready.
Now add the tempering to the yogurt. Mix well.
Serve or enjoy with hot rice.
