Avocado has become my favorite fruit now. I would love to have anything made with avocado. But as you can see, if you go through my avocado recipes, usually I use them to make rich and thick smoothies. Today also, I am sharing a yummy smoothie recipe – Avocado fruit smoothie bowl.
I just whipped up some of my favorite fruits with avocado, mixed it with whipped cream and sprinkled some of the chopped fruits on top of it. The smoothie bowl quickly became my cute little one’s favorite fruit ice cream. Smoothie bowls are a good alternative for ice creams with a combined reward of healthy nutrients. Avocado fruit smoothie bowl can be your fast breakfast dish and nothing much to say,they are yummy.
Avocado Fruit Smoothie Bowl
Avocado Fruit Smoothie Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 avocado peeled and pitted
- 1 ripe plantain banana
- 1 mango
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup whipped cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
Instructions
- Zest the lemon first and then juice it.
- Peel and chop the fruits except the avocados. Mix it with lemon juice and 2 tsp sugar.
- Set aside 1/4 cup the mixed fruits.
- In a blender mix together, the chopped avocado with the remaining mixed fruits, sugar and lemon zest. Blend well to make a thick smoothie.
- Transfer to a bowl.
- Add the whipped cream. Garnish the smoothie bowl with the remaining fruits and lemon zest.
- Chill and serve.
Notes
You can choose your favorite fruits and sweeteners like maple syrup.
